Your pet’s first chiropractic exam is easy!  We focus on making your pet as comfortable as possible.

STEP 1: CASE HISTORY

STEP 1: CASE HISTORY

We begin our examination by taking a thorough case history of your animal.

STEP 2: OBSERVATION

STEP 2: OBSERVATION

We observe posture and gait for any variances, and use touch to note any heat, inflammation, hypotonic muscles.

STEP 3: MOVEMENT

STEP 3: MOVEMENT

The next step is the most important, the movement of the joints of the spine, pelvis, and extremities. We feel for a lack of motion, and when restricted motion is shown, a high velocity, low amplitude impulse is used on that joint to restore motion.   Most animals enjoy their adjustment and find it quite pleasant.  Only hands are used to adjust animals.

STEP 4: FOLLOW UP

STEP 4: FOLLOW UP

A follow up adjustment within a few weeks may be suggested to further the healing process.

STEP 5: CONTINUING CARE

STEP 5: CONTINUING CARE

As your animal progresses, the goal is to spread out chiropractic care from once per month to once per four months, depending upon the animal and their job, to maintain their wellness.
